Youth Leadership Project
Recognizing new dreams, the path to self-reliance!
Today’s youth don’t just dream, they have a passion to make them a reality. Our job is to give them the right direction and resources so that they can change their lives and the lives of their communities.
Help for Deprived Foundation’s “Project Shabolombi” is one of the most excellent initiatives that show youth and childhood a new journey of light. It aims to nurture leadership qualities and give them skills that make them self-reliant and successful.
Project Shabolombi
A Journey of Self-Reliance!
Project Shabolombi is a sewing learning program that empowers especially women and children to earn their own livelihood. We believe that the combination of education and skills is the most powerful tool to transform any individual’s life.
In Project Shabolombi we teach sewing skills. We teach sewing work to women and young girls, which adds a professional skill to their work experience. Where every participant is given training and necessary equipment free of cost so that they can learn skills without any financial pressure. We also provide them with Income Generation Opportunities. After training, participants are taught market-oriented work, like making garments, so that they can start their income. So that when a woman becomes self-reliant, the standard of living of the entire family improves.
An impact that fills the eyes!
To date, Project Shabolombi has improved the lives of many women and children at a large number. People who had neither any skills nor resources are living an independent and confident life today. They have their source of income, which gives them a new right to live with dignity.
